This white wine is ideal as an aperitif or in the company of salmon and dill sushi.
History: 
Muscat is a very ancient grape variety, first mentioned in 1510. Of eastern origin and very different to the sweet Muscats, it is the result of a blend of two grape varieties, Muscat d’Alsace grapes and Muscat Ottonel. (Blended in equal proportions at Domaines Schlumberger).
Location: 
Muscat is a delicate, very sensitive, grape variety. This wine mainly comes from the BOLLENBERG and BUX plots. Being very difficult, our Muscat is unfortunately not available every year.
Wine-Making: 
A blend, in equal proportions, of two varieties of Muscat d’Alsace and Muscat Ottonel. Pressed pneumatically, Static settling of the must. Fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel vats. Bottled at the beginning of Spring.
Tasting: 
The robe is a lemon yellow with light green reflections of good intensity. The disk is bright, limpid, transparent.
The wine displays a youthful quality and good concentration.
The nose is marked, pleasant, with a good intensity. Very elegant dominant of fruity scents; citrus fruits, lemon as well as light floral hints can be felt.
Airing reveals a touch of overmaturity and amplifies the floral character, white flowers and citrus fruits, lemon peel, pear.
The nose offers a distinguished varietal definition, both fresh and delicate. Very pleasant.
The onset in the mouth is moderately ample and the alcoholic base well balanced. One evolves on a sharp and nervy medium, marked by a sparkling note.
The ethereal range of flavours spans across fruity hints, citrus fruit peels, pears, floral, lily of the valley, white flowers.
The finish, of average length, 6 caudalies, displays freshness.
