This wine goes well with a platter of charcuterie or seafood but it is also a summer wine to be enjoyed simply for satisfying the thirst.
The Sylvaner grape variety first appeared in Lower Alsace towards the end of the 18th century, and came from Austria. It is the most widespread grape variety in Alsace, particularly in the Lower Rhine.
Sylvaner mostly comes from the Bux plot but also from the Grands Cru Kessler plot.
Pneumatic pressing, static racking. Fermentation in thermocontrolled stainless steel tuns. Bottled during the year of production.
The robe is a yellow with crystalline reflections, the disk is bright and transparent. The wine shows a beautiful youth.
The nose is open, expressive, and we can find floral notes. A nose typical of this grape variety, of very pleasant ripe grapes produces by a hot vintage year.
In the mouth, the onset is fresh and rather long, the middle mouth is full-bodied, with alcohol and a slight touch of bitterness.
The finish is winery, dry, slightly salty with a very beautiful return on bitterness, all in finesse.
