For the great wines of future generations: a preserved environment
While making important investments in technical equipment (tanks, presses…) we have carried out a qualitative evaluation of our vineyard.
The High Environmental Value corresponds to the highest level of an environmental certification system for farms.
It is a voluntary approach implemented by wine growers or farmers which aims to identify and promote practices that are more particularly respectful of the environment. It is based on indicators and a requirement for results that cover the entire operation. It is based on 4 key themes:
- preservation of biodiversity (insects, trees, hedges, grass strips, flowers, etc.)
- the phytosanitary strategy
- fertilization management
- water resource management
This certification makes it possible to minimize the pressure of agricultural practices on the environment (air, climate, water, soil, landscape biodiversity).
Today, the vineyard has obtained level 3 in High Environmental Value.
